Wison’s FLNG design awarded approval in principle by ABS

Wison Offshore and Marine announced that the company has been granted approval in principal by ABS for its standardised 1.3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) and 3 mtpa floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility designs.

Wison Offshore and Marine’s designs will offer significant schedule and cost advantages at the early stages of the FLNG facility design.
“A major advantage for clients is our ability to not only undertake full hull and topside design but to provide an optimised schedule though parallel utilisation of its Nantong and Zhoushan construction yards,” said Wei Huaqing, general manager of the company’s FLNG division.
