OOCL offers Asia-West Africa service that calls on Onne in Nigeria

HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), now a Cosco unit, has announced the introduction of a direct port call to Onne, Nigeria, in their West Africa Service 3 (WAF3).
Tema will be the first port in West Africa under the new port rotation, offering competitive transit times from Asia as the transit time can now be shortened by a week when compared to the previous service.
New port rotation for WAF3 will be Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Shekou, Nansha, Singapore, Tema, Lome, Cotonou, Onne, Tema, Colombo, Port Kelang, Singapore and back to Shanghai.
The WAF3 will change with the withdrawal of port calls to Tincan (TICT / Port & Cargo) from the WAF3 service, but customers can continue to take advantage of the WAF1 service for shipments to Tincan (TICT) (as well as Apapa) directly, said OOCL.
