HONG KONG's Orient Overseas International Limited (OOIL), now a Cosco unit, announced its fourth quarter updates, including a total volume rate up 23.7 per cent compared to last year's quarter.
OOIL's total revenue increased 51.2 per cent to US$2.4 million, while loadable capacity increased 17.5 per cent. The overall load factor was 4.6 per cent higher.
The average revenue per TEU increased 22.2 per cent, total volumes were up 7.3 per cent, and total revenues saw 18.9 per cent growth.
Loadable capacity increased 3.7 per cent, with the load factor up 2.8 per cent. The average revenue per TEU increased 10.8 per cent.
With the recent news, OOIL wants to remind investors that the operational update for the fourth quarter ended on the last day of 2020, and hasn't been reviewed or audited by an auditor. Thus, investors are cautioned not to rely on the operational update just yet.
