China’s sea-rail train services on west corridor up 35% in 10 months

Sea-rail train services operated on China’s west land sea trade corridor increased 35% year-on-year for the first three quarters of this year.

During the first three quarters of the year the number of sea to rail services for China’s west land sea trade corridor was 4,883, up 35% year on year. Among which, some 1,493 trains departed from Chongqing an increase of 77% year on year, transporting 75,000 teu containers. 
The container volume for ASEAN was 25,400 teu, accounting for 30% of the total container volume of the corridor.
Currently, China’s west land sea trade corridor is connecting with 311 ports from 106 countries.
