The criteria of the award include volume handled in Far East sector, year-on-year growth, global reach, documentation procedures, commencement of new services, schedule integrity and customer satisfaction.

Since its launch of India service routes in 1996 Wan Hai Lines has deployed a total of 11 services in the territory, covering all major sea ports across Indian coastline.

"In order to provide shippers and consignees more options of direct services, Wan Hai will add a new CI7 service between China/Vietnam and East India by the end of March this year, to further strengthen the route layout between Asia and East India," the shipping liner said in a statement.

"Wan Hai Lines currently operates the most intensive networks in the Asia. Driven by the steadily growing economy of the India sub-continent and ASEAN, Wan Hai is committed to expand more comprehensive service coverage in order to better satisfy customers' transportation requirements."
