CMA CGM's Short Sea Lines Division has announced a reshuffling of TMX2 starting from week 7, according to London's Port Technology International.
Starting in Aliaga on February 12, the weekly service will connect North Turkey to Italy and France, as well as other destinations via Malta Hub.
It will also serve the Italian market and facilitate worldwide commerce.
The move aims to create a sustainable marine link between Turkey and the west Mediterranean.
CMA CGM's new fleet will include four vessels x 1,780 TEU, with a weekly frequency.
The new rotation is the following: Aliaga, Gemlik, Izmit, Ambarli, Malta, Salerno, Napoli, Livorno, La Spezia, Genoa, Marseille, Malta, Augusta and returning Aliaga.
In January, CMA CGM announced the launch of a new feeder service, Baltic Express (BLX).
