        在刚刚过去的十一月里，韩国揽下全球超过六成的造船订单，连续第五个月蝉联世界头号造船国。然而，受新冠疫情影响，2020年全球1月至11月造船订单总数仅有2019年的一半。

 

        英国造船与航运市场研究机构克拉克森12月8日称，今年11月全球造船订单总量达到164万CGT。具体来看，韩国拿下99万CGT（24艘），占据市场总额的60%，其次是中国，60万CGT（占比37%），越南再次，5万CGT（3%）。

 

        2020年前11个月，中国以667万CGT排名全球造船国榜首，占全球造船总数的46%。韩国502万CGT，占比35%，排名第二。日本118万CGT，占比8%，排名第三。但中韩之间的差距不断缩小，由2020年上半年的39%缩减到2020年前11个月的11%。

 

        如果把韩国接到的LNG和VLCC订单也包括在内的话，中韩之间的差距将进一步缩小。在新冠疫情期间，2020年前11个月全球新造船订单达到1447万CGT，而2019年这一数据为2523万CGT，同比下降43%。

Korea Tops Global Shipbuilding Order Intake Rankings for Five Consecutive Months

 

By landing more than 60 percent of the world’s new shipbuilding orders in November, Korea came in first in the order standings for the fifth straight month in November, beating China. However, global orders for ships in the January-November period of 2020 reached only half of those in the same period of 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Global shipbuilding orders amounted to 1.64 million CGTs in November, said Clarkson Research, a British shipbuilding and shipping market analysis agency, on Dec. 8. By country, Korea posted 990,000 CGTs (24 ships), which amounted to 60 percent of the total, followed by China with 600,000 CGTs (37 percent) and Vietnam with 50,000 CGTs (3 percent).

 

For the Jan.-Nov. period of 2020, China ranked first with 6.67 million CGTs (46 percent), followed by Korea with 5.02 million CGTs (35 percent) and Japan with 1.18 million CGTs (8 percent). Korea’s gap with China was narrowed from 39 percentage points in the first half of 2020 to 11 percentage points in the Jan.-Nov. period.

 

The gap will be further narrowed when Korea’s orders for LNG tankers and VLCCs won in November are included. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, global orders for ships reached 14.47 million CGTs in the first 11 months of 2020, only 57 percent of the total (25.23 million CGTs) in the same period of 2019.
