FEDEX Express, a leading express delivery company, has announced the appointment of Kawal Preet as the new president of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) region.
Ms Preet, vice president of operations, North and South Pacific regions, will take up the role on June 1, succeeding Karen Reddington, who moves on to become regional president of Europe and CEO of TNT.
Ms Preet will lead the overall planning and implementation of corporate strategies and operations, and will manage nearly 40,000 team members across 103 markets and territories that make up the AMEA region, accounting for nearly half of the destinations FedEx Express serves.

Ms Preet joined FedEx Express in 1997 as an associate engineer in Singapore. Following roles spanning service quality assurance, ground operations, she controlled planning and engineering for the air and ground networks.
