CMA CGM to launch Round The Africa Service 'RTA' from July 25

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has introduced a new Round the Africa (RTA) service to complement its existing 31 services to Sub Saharan Africa, the company announced.
The service, deploying 11 vessels averaging 4,200 TEU in size, will be available on the market from July 25 direct from Asia to Senegal and Sierra Leone with best transit times.
Dakar is reached weekly from Ningbo in 35 days, from Nansha in 32 days. Freetown is reached in 35 days from Nansha. The service offer to Tema is improved with three weekly departures..
