Cosmoship orders up to four boxships at Huangpu Wenchong

Cosmoship has inked contracts for up to four 1,500 teu containership newbuilds at CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding.

The deal, jointly signed by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding, CSSC China Shipbuilding Trading and the Greek ship owner Cosmoship, consists of firm orders for two 1,500 teu boxships and an option for another two ships of the same design.
The vessels are in 171.98 metres length, 24.29 metres width and 13.6 metres depth.

Huangpu Wenchong shipyard had delivered four boxships of the same type to Cosmoship last year.
