Dajin Heavy Industry, a subsidiary of Bestway Marine and Energy Technology, has signed two shipbuilding contracts for the construction of four bulk carriers and two deck cargo ships.

The first batch, signed with Joint Stock Company Aston Foods and Food Ingredients, includes four 8,000 tonne dry bulk carriers totaling in CNY258.34m.
The four vessels are due to be delivered by end February 2023.

In addition, the company also inked contract with Shanghai Ouyang Offshore for the construction of two deck cargo ships. The total contract value is CNY129.98m ($20.1m).
The first deck cargo vessel is due for delivery in October 2021 and the second vessel will be delivered in December 2021.
