MSC to levy fuel surcharge on Asia-US bound boxes June 1.

MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Co) has announced it will implement "global fuel surcharge on all cargo from Asian to US ports from June 1.
From that date, charges will be for Asia-USWC cargo, US$77 per TEU box, $154 per FEU, $195 per 45-footers, $116 per TEU reefer and $232 per FEU reefer.
Also from that date, charges will be for Asia-USEC and Gulf coast port cargo, US$137 per TEU box, $274 per FEU, $347 per 45-footers, $206 per TEU reefer and $412 per FEU reefer.
