Cosmoship returns to Huangpu Wenchong for boxship pair

CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding has entered into a shipbuilding construction contract for two 1,500 teu containerships with Greek shipowner Cosmoship.

The boxship pair will be in 171.98 meters length, 24.29 meters width and 13.6 metres depth, and meet Tier III emission requirements.
In December 2020, Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding delivered the last 1,500 teu vessel to Cosmoship from a previous order.
The two newly contracted boxships are the seventh and eighth 1,500 teu containerships Cosmoship has ordered at Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding.
