CHINA has slammed the US decision to add dozens of Chinese companies to a trade blacklist, declaring the move violates an understanding between the countries leaders, reports Bloomberg News.

"The US Commerce Ministry publishing a new sanction list is not in line with the consensus agreed on by Chinese and US leaders," said Chinese commerce ministry representative Shu Jueting.
"It is harmful to both countries, the global supply chain's security and the global economic recovery," said Ms Shu.
The US Commerce Department added a dozen Chinese firms to the Entity List for engaging in activities against national security or foreign policy interests.
Suppliers will not be able to deal with companies on the list unless they've received a special licence to do so.
President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping recently had their first face-to-face meeting, with both stressing the need for more talks.
Three affiliates of Corad Technology Limited were involved in sales of Western technology to North Korea front companies and subordinates of Chinese government and defence industry organisations.
In total, 27 foreign groups and individuals were added to the list from countries including Japan and Singapore.
