CMA CGM's sets new terminal handling charges in January

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM announced new terminal handling charges from January 1 and again on January 15 in many ports in Europe and the Far East, reports the American Journal of Transportation.

Terminal handling charges for all French ports except for Port Vendres, Dunkerque and Marseille will go to EUR225 (US$255) per dry container and EUR330 per reefer box.
In German ports except for Wilhelmshaven, terminal handling charges will go to EUR245 per dry container, EUR375 per reefer box and EUR490 per imported out-of-gauge units.
From Vladivostok and Vostochny on January 1, terminal handling charges for imports will go to US$435/TEU, $660/FEU, $485/TEU reefer, $700/FEU reefer, $700/TEU hazardous material, $700/TEU hazmat, $650/TEU out of gauge and $650/FEU OOG.
From Vladivostok and Vostochny on January 1, terminal handling charges for exports will go to $360/TEU, $410/FEU, $360/TEU reefer, $410/FEU reefer, $700/TEU hazardous material, $700/TEU hazmat, $650/TEU out of gauge and $650/TEU OOG.
From these ports on January 15, terminal handling charges for imports will go to $435/TEU, $660/FEU, $485/TEU reefer, $660/FEU reefer, $700/TEU hazardous material, $700/TEU hazmat, $650/TEU out of gauge and $650/TEU OOG.
From these ports on January 15, terminal handling charges for exports will go to $360/TEU, $410/FEU, $360/TEU reefer, $410/FEU reefer, $700/TEU hazardous material, $700/TEU hazmat, $650/TEU out of gauge and $650/TEU OOG.
