UKRAINE grain shippers have developed a new export route through the Baltic Sea to send crops abroad, reports Bloomberg News.
The nation has been searching for alternative paths for its crops due to the war with Russia, with Russia cutting off vital shipments from ports in the Black Sea.
An initial Ukrainian corn cargo sent via Romania to Spain was recorded in April, and Spain received its first cargo from Poland.
The new shipping route may help ease Ukraine's grain backlog and buoy feed supplies for EU livestock farmers.
