TESLA has initiated the practice of delivering their cars to customers with a 50 per cent charge as a precautionary measure for safety, reports UK's Investing.com.
Additionally in a gesture of goodwill, they are providing buyers with an additional benefit of 150 complimentary supercharging kilometres to compensate for any inconveniences experienced.
"Due to a new industry policy, your vehicle must be shipped with a max 50 per cent charge - meaning your Model 3 charge status may be lower than our usual standard at your delivery appointment," said Reddit user u/W-001.
"We are giving you 150 km of free supercharging for the inconvenience."
