CMA CGM launches new service linking Asia with Turkey, Libya & Red Sea
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM is introducing its new seasonal weekly service TLX (Turkey Libya Express) connecting Asia with Turkey, Libya and Red Sea.
The new service will be fully operated by CMA CGM and will have a rotation of Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Singapore, Jeddah, Iskenderun, Malta, Misurata, Jeddah, Port Klang and returning to Shanghai, according to AJOT.
Main TLX features sole service offering direct calls at Iskenderun, very competitive transit time from Asia to Iskenderun and Misurata, large offering of intermodal solutions to/from Turkish hinterland and weekly sailings from Central and South China to Jeddah with connections to the growing Red Sea market (including NEOM).
The service will be launched on July 1 in Shanghai with the sailing of the m/v Buxlink.
