普睿司曼公司(Prysmian)的新型深水电缆铺设船(cable laying vessel,简称CLV),名为“达芬奇”号(Leonardo da Vinci)。目前,该船已经完成了其第一次公海之旅,并准备开始海上试航。
完成最后的舾装阶段后,“达芬奇”号将进行为期大约两周的海试,并在试航中接受三轮测试。
读取其吃水深度数值后,该船海试的第一阶段会以船员登船和紧急集合为开端,并在演练中做一些调试,为该船技术方面的海试做好准备工作。
用时最长的第二阶段首先测试的是起锚机,期间要求该船必须在至少90米水深下抛锚。同时,该阶段也测试了该船的制动系统。
此外,船舶试航速度、主推进系统、转向装置、机动性能、电源管理器和其他设备,也都要接受检测。
最后,对绞缆机、系缆拉力、100吨海上起重机、A型架,拖曳绞车和升绞车进行了最终的测试与测量,这些设备可为用于船舶作业的埋设工具提供支持。
“达芬奇”号于2018年4月订购,并在位于罗马尼亚(Romania)图尔恰(Tulcea)的瓦尔德(Vard)船厂进行建造。

CLV Leonardo da Vinci sets sail
Prysmian’s new cable laying vessel (CLV) Leonardo da Vinci has completed its first trip to open sea and is ready to begin sea trials.
After completing the last outfitting phases, Leonardo da Vinci will undergo sea trials for approximately two weeks and will run three turns of tests.
After draught readings, the first phase of sea trials will start with boarding and general mustering, in which tunings are performed, to get ready for technical sea trials.
The second phase is the longest and starts with the anchor windlass test during which the anchor must be dropped at a water depth of minimum 90 meters, also testing the brakes system.
Furthermore, vessel trial speed, main propulsion systems, steering gear, maneuver, power management, and other equipment, will be tested.
In the end, final tests and measurements are carried out on winches, bollard pull, 100 tons offshore crane, A-frame and towing/lifting winch, which will support burial tools used for operations.
Leonardo da Vinci, ordered in April 2018, was built at Vard’s shipyard in Tulcea in Romania.
The 170-meter long vessel, set to be ready for work by mid-2021, will debut on the Sofia offshore wind project in the UK under a contract that Prysmian signed earlier this year.
