GERMANY's Hapag-Lloyd has announced its new AT3 service due to start at the end of May 2022.
The service will link Hamburg and Antwerp with St. John, New Brunswick, reports London's Port Technology.
The service will operate seasonally with the following rotation: Hamburg, Antwerp, St John and returning to Hamburg.
The route will be launched to secure hinterland connectivity from and to the US Midwest and Canada and to guarantee a direct weekly service between uncongested ports, free from the current widespread congestion issues, the carrier said in a statement.
Hapag-Lloyd last week announced its new service connecting the Mediterranean and US.
